Scan registration information

• Date of birth

• These fields are required to produce accurate body composition results

Body composition scan results

• Results produced by the InBody 970 body composition analyser, including body weight, skeletal muscle mass, body fat percentage, segmental data, total body water, basal metabolic rate, and Phase Angle
• Scan results linked to your name and registration information may constitute health-adjacent information under the Privacy Act

Website usage data

• IP address, browser type, and pages visited (via analytics tools), collected for website improvement purposes

3. How we use your information

We use your information for the following purposes:

• To register you for a body composition scan and produce your results report
• To notify you of upcoming scan events in your area, if you have opted in
• To communicate with you regarding an existing booking or enquiry
• To respond to general enquiries or partnership discussions
• To improve the quality and operation of our service
• To comply with our legal obligations

We do not use your information for purposes unrelated to the service without your consent.

4. Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information in limited circumstances:

• Service providers. Third-party software platforms used to operate our service, such as CRM, email, and scheduling tools. These providers are bound by confidentiality obligations.
• Partner gyms. We do not share individual member scan results with partner gyms. We may share aggregate, de-identified event data, such as total scans completed, with partner gyms for activation reporting.
• Legal requirements. Where required by law, court order, or regulatory authority.

5. Scan data and body composition results

Your individual scan results, including body composition metrics linked to your name, are treated with care. We consider this information to be health-adjacent and apply the following rules:

• Individual scan results are not shared with the partner gym at which you scanned without your explicit, specific authorisation
• Scan results are not used for advertising profiling
• Scan results are not sold or provided to third parties
• Scan results are stored securely and accessed only by authorised BodyIntel personnel

Scan results are body composition education data, not medical records. They are not sent to your doctor or any healthcare provider unless you specifically request this and provide authorisation.

6. How long we keep it

We retain your personal information and scan results for as long as necessary to provide the service and comply with legal obligations. If you request deletion of your information, we will action this within a reasonable timeframe, subject to any legal retention requirements.

7. Security

We take reasonable steps to protect your personal information from misuse, interference, loss, and unauthorised access, modification, or disclosure. Our measures include access controls, secure data storage, and staff training.

No internet transmission is completely secure. If you believe your information has been compromised, contact us immediately at admin@bodyintel.com.

8. Your rights

Under the Australian Privacy Principles, you have the right to:

• Request access to the personal information we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate or outdated information
• Request deletion of your information, where legally permissible
